Who are the principals?
Adrian Ward - Managing Director
Adrian has spent the last 20 years owning, managing and selling businesses. From a National Management Consultancy, a Dry Suit manufacturer for Scuba Diving gear to a major Specialist Motor Outlet. For the last six years he has been involved in the mergers and acquisition market. He is a Deal Maker and has the track record to prove it. In his last year before setting up AMS he was personally responsible for a deal income that was 25% of the turnover of a national mergers and acquisition firm. Adrian’s main hobby is scuba diving with sharks, he feels this gives him a good training for dealing with purchasers, accountants and solicitors on our vendors behalf

Nicky Whittaker - Director
Nicky joined the AMS in 2004 and for the last 5 years has been a part of a highly successful merger and aquistion team. Successfully closing and completing deals from £500,000 to multi million pound deals within various sectors including Care, Manufacturing and the Service Sector. Nicky is extremely proud of her interpersonal skills for patience and understanding. Skills that are definately required for negotiating deals: she also finds them very handy traits to have living with her partner Paul!
Previous roles include Relationship Manager for a finance house based in Chester, Cabin Crew with a Middle Eastern airline (where she learned her some of her patience and understanding skills!) and Director of an Engineering Company based in North Wales.
Nicky became a Director of AMS in October 2008. Nicky spends her down time holidaying wherever is hot in the world, shopping, cooking and dog walking.
